Charaka's handspun, handwoven, natural dyed cotton fabric from Karnataka, beautifully embellished with Abla or mirrorwork embroidery by Kutch artisan Dulari. Both unique works, that work so seamlessly together. 
Charaka works to employ & enable the Heggodu residents. They are taught the weaving, dyeing & production process and enabled to start their own units who work with the mother organization. 
Dulari learnt embroidery & tassel making from her mother & hopes to teach it to her daughters too. Her husband Harish is a huge support who handles their tailoring unit. 
This work is a labour of love & handmade by many hands, for you!
The cushion has an over lap in the back in plain white cotton fabric, that ensures cushions stay tucked inside. As with everything handmade, their little imperfections, add to their unique charm.
